When can I get a top-of-the-line credit card?

Question by Legend: When can I get a top-of-the-line credit ?
I have had a history of 10 months. I have only one . I paid all my bills on or ahead of due date all the time. I never went over 50% of my limit. Can I expect to get approved by a top banks like Citibank, Chase or AmEx?

It will really depend on the lender. I would recommend you order a copy of your report and score from:

http://www.myFICO.com

That way you can see your report and score. For premium rates you will want to have a score of 720 or higher.

It wil depend on the lender. You can be approved for all the cards you’ve just mentioned. Just choose the pick the one you want and apply for it. All the best.

With a credit history of 10 months, I wouldn’t hold my breathe. You should be working for at least a few years, and have substantial income and excellent credit.

I got a AE card through Costco, and I never thought that I would get one, and I’ve been working for over 35 years with a BK of over 9 years on my report.

So, you can try, but I wouldn’t bet on your getting one.
